How a single idea became a geometric visual language.
Light bends. Facets multiply. A single beam becomes something far more complex and beautiful than what it started as. That idea became the foundation for an icon system built entirely on faceted geometry and hidden meaning for those who look closely enough.
In collaboration with StoriTel, who defined the values and voice, we focused on illustration and designed a culture icon system that expressed Kaleido’s values.
Three icons. One underlying logic. Everything intentional. The diamond, the heart, and the star each emerge from the same faceted framework — giving the system cohesion while letting each shape carry its own weight.
Like a cut gemstone, the icon breaks a single image into multiple fragments. It's beautiful and about seeing what others don't.
This heart is built from a multitude of interconnected pieces, just like the way the strongest teams are built.
Look closer at the star and you'll find two stars living inside it, a quiet nod to collaboration built right into the geometry. The icon only exists because multiple facets work together.
