Emma & Jackson
Aww Shucks, they’re just right—
how this oyster-inspired vision came to life on the Cape.
Signature style from the start.
The invitations introduced Emma & Jackson’s wedding with a refined style that felt right at home in coastal New England. Clean and modern at first glance, but layered with thoughtful details that hinted at what was to come.
Enter: watercolor oysters.
Custom watercolor oyster illustrations added just the right amount of personality. Playful yet polished, and entirely unique to Emma & Jackson. What started as a subtle design element quickly became the thread that tied everything together, appearing across pieces to add texture, charm, and a sense of place that felt distinctly Cape Cod.
Not just a motif, but a signature—one that made the entire celebration feel unmistakably theirs.
It’s all in the details…
From day-of moments to the smallest finishing touches, this wedding leaned into its coastal theme in a way that felt thoughtful and elevated. The oyster illustrations carried through, popping up in all the right places and bringing a sense of continuity—and a nautical nod—to the entire experience.
Other custom drawings were added too as the look and feel of the evening came together, including a whimsical line-art portrait of their beloved dog, Conan, which instantly stole hearts.
And then, there was one of those behind-the-scenes pivots that ends up being a highlight of the night.
The couple had envisioned an escort display with oyster shells, but between the cost (and the ironic twist that they’re actually allergic to oysters), the idea needed a bit more massaging.
Enter: oyster-shaped cookies.
Each one beautifully decorated with a guest’s name and table number, displayed on a perfectly fitting “aww shucks” wall. Just as thematic, a touch more personal, and arguably… a lot more delicious.
Every moment of the night was thoughtfully considered. Custom menus even brought the story to the table, making each place setting feel like a thoughtful part of the celebration.
